What she is made of.

Working draft. Koemi is in heavy beta and this document is still under legal review; the reviewed version will replace this page before wide launch.
Koemi stands on other people's work: an animation runtime, purchased and sample characters, an open voice model, typefaces, and a great deal of open-source software. This page credits it.
1. Live2D
This product uses Live2D Cubism technology. Live2D Cubism Core is © Live2D Inc., all rights reserved, and is redistributed unmodified under the Live2D Proprietary Software License Agreement. Live2D is a registered trademark of Live2D Inc.
2. The characters
- Chikuwa-chan (地雷系ちくわちゃん) is © 入鹿ぱる (Iruka Paru), a purchased Live2D model used under its purchase terms.
- Hiyori Momose is © Live2D Inc., distributed under the Live2D Free Material License Agreement.
3. Her voice
Dara's voice is generated by Kokoro-82M, an open text-to-speech model released under the Apache License 2.0. Her voice is fully synthetic: it does not record, clone, or imitate any specific real person.
4. Typefaces
- Clash Display and General Sans, by the Indian Type Foundry, distributed through Fontshare.
- Space Grotesk, by Florian Karsten, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
5. Open source
The apps are built on open-source software, including Vue, Nuxt, PixiJS, pixi-live2d-display (MIT), and components adapted from the moeru-ai AIRI project (MIT). The desktop app additionally bundles multimedia components such as GStreamer (LGPL). A complete inventory of the bundled components and their licence texts is in preparation and will ship with the app.
